Following an announcement to a packed house of comic book fans at DC’s All In/Absolute universes panel at New York Comic Con, DC today revealed the first interior pages from its upcoming Aquaman DC All In series, by series artist John Timms (Action Comics) with colors by Rex Lokus. Written by Jeremy Adams (Green Lantern, Green Lantern: Fractured Spectrum, The Flash), the debut issue is available for preorder now at participating comic book shops and digital retailers and launches Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
In the wake of DC’s Absolute Power, Aquaman’s water-warping abilities have evolved to powerful new heights, and the King of Atlantis will need these amped up abilities to face the threat of mammoth water-construct kaiju monsters appearing in each of the seven seas – if these new powers don’t kill him in the process. The mysterious Dagon is Aquaman’s guide to managing these new abilities and understanding the secret behind “The Blue.” This journey only unlocks more questions and leads to dire consequences for Aquaman and his kingdom.
Aquaman #1 features a main cover by series artist Timms, with variant covers by Ivan Reis, Tula Lotay, Salvador Larrocca, Christian Ward, and Brad Walker (with Andrew Hennessy and Marcelo Maiolo). Local comic book shops have the latest details on availability and preordering.
